 🚌✨STUDY TOUR- 2025✨🚌

As part of our B.Ed. curriculum, we embarked on a 10-day educational study tour from March 12 to March 20, 2025. The journey began on the afternoon of March 12 from Kollam Railway Station aboard the Kerala Express. We spent two days traveling by train, enjoying group bonding through songs, games, and discussions. On March 14 at 10:00 AM, we arrived at Agra Railway Station, where the tour operator, Sky Holidays, received us. After freshening up and breakfast at the hotel, we visited the magnificent Agra Fort and later Meena Bazaar, though most shops were closed due to the Holi festival. That night, we had dinner and stayed at a hotel in Agra. On March 15, we departed early at 6:00 AM to visit the Taj Mahal, an unforgettable experience. After spending ample time there, we returned to the hotel for lunch, checked out, and traveled to Delhi. In Delhi, we explored the historic Red Fort and did some shopping in the nearby market. At night, we boarded two Volvo buses and headed to our next major destination—Manali. We arrived in Manali on the morning of March 16 and checked in at a hotel. The freezing temperature, around -5°C, was a new and thrilling experience. After breakfast and changing into winter gear, we visited Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel, Sissu Snow Point, and Hadimba Temple. The snow-covered landscapes and bustling mountain shops added to the adventure. That night, we stayed in a hotel and had a delicious North Indian dinner. On March 17, after breakfast and checkout, we visited the peaceful Tibetan Monasteries and Van Vihar National Park, followed by an optional river rafting activity, which some students enjoyed. Although I couldn’t participate due to health reasons, it was exciting to witness. That night, we returned to Delhi. On the morning of March 18, we arrived in Delhi and went to nearby hotels to freshen up. After breakfast, we visited the iconic Qutub Minar and then had lunch in our bus, which was a new experience. In the afternoon, we went shopping at the famous Sarojini Market, where we bought clothes and accessories at affordable prices through bargaining. Finally, at 8:00 PM on March 18, we boarded the Kerala Express from Delhi Railway Station for our return journey and reached Kollam Railway Station on the night of March 20. This study tour was my first visit to North India and a truly beautiful, unforgettable experience. It enhanced my communication and social skills, exposed me to new cultures and environments, and gave me memories and friendships that I will cherish forever. As a prospective teacher, the exposure to new places, people, and educational experiences added great value to my personal and professional growth.
