DAY-4
The fourth day of our tour started after breakfast, and we checked out from the hotel by 9:00 AM to explore more of Manali’s beauty. Our first stop was the Tibetan Monasteries which offered a calm and spiritual environment. We learned about Tibetan culture, Buddhism, and admired the intricate architecture and prayer wheels. Next, we visited the Van Vihar National Park, a serene forest park with tall deodar trees and a small lake. Walking through the greenery was peaceful and refreshing, offering a moment of quiet amidst our busy schedule. Later, we proceeded to river rafting, a thrilling activity in the Kullu-Manali region. Many of our group members participated in the adventure, wearing life jackets and enjoying the rapids of the freezing river. Due to health reasons, I did not take part in the rafting but enjoyed watching the others and capturing moments through my camera. The joy and thrill on everyone’s faces were evident. After the river rafting experience, we had dinner and then began our return journey to Delhi by night. The day offered a perfect mix of peace, culture, and adventure that we would always cherish.
