π£️πΈ From Classroom to Real Life: An Innovative Model on Traffic signals and road markingsπΈπ¦
As per the B.Ed curriculum, during my first phase of teaching practice, I prepared an innovative working model on road markings and traffic signals. I designed a miniature city using simple materials such as cardboard and other low-cost items, incorporating small buildings like a hospital, petrol pump, and school, along with appropriate signboards, traffic signals, and zebra crossing lines. I effectively used this model while teaching the related topic in the classroom.
This model provided students with concrete and experiential learning which helped them easily understand the importance of following traffic rules and correctly identifying road markings and traffic signals. Through this activity-based approach, the content was meaningfully and effectively transacted, enhancing students’ interest, understanding, and real-life awareness of road safety.
