π©π«SECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE { WEEK- 4} [ DAY 14 - DAY-18 ]
Day 14 – 24/11/2025
I reached school at 9:00 a.m. and signed the register. The morning prayer was held at 9:30 a.m. I handled two classes as per the timetable. In the third period, I taught Heat Capacity of Water to 8J, and in the fifth period, I taught General Properties of Magnets to 8C. Students participated well in both classes. The school dispersed at 3:30 p.m. After signing the register at 4:15 p.m., I left for home.
Day 15 – 25/11/2025
I reached school at 9:00 a.m. and signed the register. Morning prayer was at 9:30 a.m. I had no regular classes today. My classmates had their general observation, and I assisted them whenever needed. I received a substitution period in 5D during the seventh period and maintained discipline. I used the remaining time to complete duties and write lesson plans. After school dispersed at 3:30 p.m., I signed the register at 4:15 p.m. and went home.
Day 16 – 26/11/2025
I reached school at 8:15 a.m., signed the register, and attended the prayer at 9:30 a.m. It was a very busy day. I conducted a diagnostic test in 8J during a substitution period. In the second period, I taught Structure of Water to 8J. I also had two more substitution periods in 8C. During the fifth period, I taught Magnetic Compass, and during the seventh period, I taught Magnetization. The school dispersed at 3:30 p.m. After signing the register at 4:15 p.m., I went home.

I reached school at 9:00 a.m. and signed the register. The morning prayer was at 9:30 a.m. I had no regular classes today. The school dispersed at 3:30 p.m. After signing the register at 4:15 p.m., I went home.
Day 18 – 28/11/2025
I reached school at 9:00 a.m. and signed the register. The school prayer was at 9:30 a.m. I had a regular class during the fifth period, where I taught Magnetic Field Lines to 8C. Due to election duty assigned to teachers, I also received substitution periods. In the seventh period, I handled 8J for conducting remedial class based on the diagnostic test results.The school dispersed at 3:30 p.m. After signing the register at 4:15 p.m., I left for home.

πOPTIONAL REFLECTION -3πͺ✨
"The third optional reflection of the second phase teaching practice was conducted on 22 nd November 2025 at the Physical Science Department under the coordination of Smitha Teacher. Fifteen student teachers from seven schools participated. Each shared their weekly experiences, including completion of lesson plans, school events, and duties related to Sub-District Kalolsavam. Students from Boys HSS Kottarakkara, St. Mary’s HSS Kizhakkekara, St. Margaret’s Kundara, VGHSS Nediyavila, TVTM HSS Valakom, and MGHSS reported activities such as trophy distribution, eye-test camp, NCC poster preparation, and school tours. Most students completed 4–6 lesson plans during the week. The session concluded with valuable suggestions and feedback from the teacher, helping everyone refine their teaching practice"

πOPTIONAL REFLECTION -2πͺ✨ PHASE -2πππ️
The second optional reflection of the second phase teaching practice was conducted today in the Physical Science optional class under the coordination of the teacher educator. A total of fifteen student-teachers from five different schools participated in the session and shared their experiences from the past week.
Most student-teachers reported that the completion of the mid-term examination and the preparations for the Sub-district Kalolsavam in their respective schools resulted in several substitution period being assigned to them. This allowed many of them to complete a good number of lesson plans during the week. Some schools had additional programmes such as NCC camps, open assemblies, certificate distribution, and Children’s Day celebrations, which included rallies, special assemblies, and cultural programmes. A few student-teachers had opportunities to conduct experiment-based classe, while others handled substitution periods in various sections, including subjects outside their optional area.
Certain schools were actively engaged in competition practice related to Kalolsavam, and some student-teachers were assigned additional responsibilities such as library duty and assisting with event arrangements. A few students also reported challenges, such as delays in receiving the second part of the textbook for students. Overall, the participants agreed that the week provided a variety of experiences, from classroom teaching and classroom management to involvement in different school-level activities, which contributed positively to their growth as prospective teachers.ππ️❤️

SECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE ❤️ π€ [ WEEK 2] π️{ DAY 4 - DAY 8 }
Day 4π️ ( 10/11/2025)✨
I reached the school at 8:45 a.m. and signed the register. I attended morning discipline duty. As per the timetable, I had classes in the third and fifth periods, but due to the midterm exam, I could not take the third-period class. In the fifth period, I took the 8C class and taught the topic capacitor from the chapter static electricity. Students showed interest, and I explained the basic idea and uses of capacitors. After the class, I spent time completing teaching practice-related works and assisted in discipline duties. At 4:15 p.m., I signed the register and went home.
Day 5 π️( 11/11/2025)✨
I reached the school at 8:45 a.m. and signed the register. The morning prayer was conducted at 9:30 a.m. There were no regular classes because the midterm exam ended on this day. During the third period, we helped teachers arrange answer sheets. The remaining time was used to finish pending works. The school dispersed at 3:30 p.m., and after signing the register at 4:15 p.m., I went home.

I reached the school at 8:45 a.m. and signed the register. The morning prayer was at 9:30 a.m. As per the timetable, I took a class in 8J on the topic water as a universal solvent. It was my first class in that division, and the students responded well. In the seventh period, I handled a substitution class in 8A. The rest of the time was used for teaching practice-related work. The school dispersed at 3:30 p.m., and I signed the register at 4:15 p.m. and left.

I reached the school at 8:45 a.m., signed the register, and did morning discipline duty. The school prayer was at 9:30 a.m. I had no regular classes in the morning, but I was assigned to take attendance and maintain discipline in class 6D during the first period. In the fifth period, I took a substitution class in 8J and taught the topic hard water and soft water. Later, the NCC camp flag hoisting took place, and I participated in it. The school dispersed at 3:30 p.m., and I did line duty. After signing the register at 4:15 p.m., I went home.

I reached the school at 9:00 a.m. and signed the register. It was a busy day because many teachers were on duty for the Sub District Kalolsavam, so I received several substitution classes. As it was Children’s Day, programmes and a rally were held, and students dressed up in different costumes. In the second period, I handled 8C and taught the topic lightning. In the fifth period, I took my regular class in 8C and taught lightning conductor. In the seventh period, I had a substitution class in 9F and interacted with the students. I also observed the NCC parade practice. The school dispersed at 3:30 p.m., and after signing the register at 4:15 p.m., I went home.

The first optional reflection of the second phase teaching practice was conducted on 8 November 2025 at the Physical Science Department under the coordination and guided by Smitha Teacher. A total of 21 students from eight schools participated and shared their reflections about the first week of their second phase practice. Most of them mentioned changes in their assigned classrooms, new mentor teachers, and ongoing school activities such as midterm examinations, IT practicals, and youth festival preparations, which affected the number of classes they could take. Many students successfully completed two to three lesson plans and shared their experiences in classroom management and student interaction. The session concluded with valuable suggestions and guidance from the teacher to help improve teaching performance in the coming weeks.❤️

Day 1π️( 5/ 11/2025)✨- a day with new beginningπ
The first day of my second phase teaching practice at St. Mary’s H.S.S., Kizhakkekara, was a new beginning filled with excitement and a little nervousness. I reached school at 9:10 a.m. and signed the register. Though I had a class in the second period, I couldn’t take it due to the ongoing mid-term examination. During the third period, I helped arrange the answer sheets of various classes. Later, I got a substitution period in Class 8C, where I taught the topic π“Applications of Static Electricity.” It was my first class in this phase, and it helped me gain confidence in handling students effectively.
Day 2π️ (6/11/2025)✨Balancing Duties and Teachingπ
The second day began smoothly, and I reached the school at 9:10 a.m. As per the timetable, I didn’t have any regular class but got a substitution period in Class 8C, where I taught the topic “πEarthing” from the chapter “Static Electricity.” I also assisted teachers in organizing mid-term examination papers and performed my assigned morning, lunch, and evening discipline duties sincerely. It was a productive day that gave me more exposure to school responsibilities beyond classroom teaching.

On the third day, I reached the school by 8:45 a.m. and performed my morning discipline duty. I took a class during the fifth period in Class 8C on the topic π“Charging by Induction (Electroscope).” The students actively participated, which made the class interactive and successful. In the afternoon, an NCC programme was held in connection with the 150th year celebration, which included patriotic songs and performances. The day was enriching and helped me feel more comfortable and confident as a teacher.❤️π€
