๐คSECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE ❤️
Day 1๐️( 5/ 11/2025)✨- a day with new beginning๐
The first day of my second phase teaching practice at St. Mary’s H.S.S., Kizhakkekara, was a new beginning filled with excitement and a little nervousness. I reached school at 9:10 a.m. and signed the register. Though I had a class in the second period, I couldn’t take it due to the ongoing mid-term examination. During the third period, I helped arrange the answer sheets of various classes. Later, I got a substitution period in Class 8C, where I taught the topic ๐“Applications of Static Electricity.” It was my first class in this phase, and it helped me gain confidence in handling students effectively.
Day 2๐️ (6/11/2025)✨Balancing Duties and Teaching๐
The second day began smoothly, and I reached the school at 9:10 a.m. As per the timetable, I didn’t have any regular class but got a substitution period in Class 8C, where I taught the topic “๐Earthing” from the chapter “Static Electricity.” I also assisted teachers in organizing mid-term examination papers and performed my assigned morning, lunch, and evening discipline duties sincerely. It was a productive day that gave me more exposure to school responsibilities beyond classroom teaching.
Day 3๐️ ( 7/11/2025)✨ 150 th year of National song ๐ฆ
On the third day, I reached the school by 8:45 a.m. and performed my morning discipline duty. I took a class during the fifth period in Class 8C on the topic ๐“Charging by Induction (Electroscope).” The students actively participated, which made the class interactive and successful. In the afternoon, an NCC programme was held in connection with the 150th year celebration, which included patriotic songs and performances. The day was enriching and helped me feel more comfortable and confident as a teacher.❤️๐ค
