DAY -2 OF LOKAHI CAMP🎨✨

 ❤️🤍 " HARMONY IN DIVERSITY "❤️🤍- a day filled with music,drama,joy fullness🎙️🥁🎭



The second day of the Lokahi Community Living Camp, held on October 22, 2025, truly embodied the theme “Harmony in Diversity.” The day began at 9:00 AM with the morning assembly, anchored by Anu G. Saji. A melodious prayer was sung by Megha, Vaishnavi, and Rajalakshmi, followed by the thought for the day shared by Varsha and the news reading by Sheba and Alfiya. The day’s theme, “Harmony in Diversity,” was beautifully introduced and explained by Shamna.

At 10:00 AM, the campus came alive with the musical seminar “Swaralaya.” Dr. Manakkal Gopalakrishnan, former Research Officer at SCERT Kerala, led a session on “The Relevance and Importance of Musical Intelligence in Teacher Education,” accompanied by violinist Mavelikkara Vijayakrishnan and mridangam artist Srirangam Krishnakumar. Their performance and discussion created a wonderful blend of art and learning. The session concluded with felicitations by Shaheena, Anagha, and Akshara, and a vote of thanks by Rose






.

Following refreshments, at 11:45 AM, the “Agniratham” session took place. Mr. Aneesh from Kottarakkara Fire and Rescue Station conducted an informative class titled “On the Path of Safety.” He demonstrated CPR and the use of fire extinguishers, offering valuable lessons on safety and emergency handling. The session ended with a vote of thanks from Jeeja.

After lunch, the stage came alive with colorful cultural performances by different groups. At 2:45 PM, an interactive session titled “Media Pulse” was held by journalist Mr. Ayyappadas from Malayala Manorama, organized by Mrs. Neethu S. Raj of the Malayalam department. The session provided deep insights into media ethics, communication, and the role of journalism in society. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Sheba Susan Philip.






In the evening, a thought-provoking drama titled “ALPHII (12) MISSING” was performed by the Rangaprabhat group from Alanthara, Vennjaramoodu. The play conveyed strong social and emotional messages about human values and relationships, earning enthusiastic applause. Shalini expressed gratitude on behalf of the participants.I also shared my grateful opinion and review about the drama. It was truly wonderful, and I really liked their performance.







The day ended on a joyful note with a lively musical night titled “Beats Audios” at 7:30 PM, uniting everyone in music and celebration. Our team was happily in charge of decoration, morning refreshments, and lunch arrangements for the day.
