✨👭 TOGETHER IN HARMONY 👭✨
First day of the Lokahi Community Living Camp, held on October 21, began with great enthusiasm and excitement. Registration started at 8:30 AM, filling the campus with energy as teacher trainees gathered for the five-day journey of learning, sharing, and togetherness.
At 9:30 AM, the college principal, Mr. Riju John, hoisted the camp flag, officially marking the beginning of Lokahi 2025. The inaugural ceremony began at 10:00 AM with a welcome speech by Mrs. Smitha M.S. The college principal, Mr. Riju John, presided over the function, and the camp was inaugurated by the renowned poet and writer Mr. Kureepuzha Sreekumar. The college manager, Very Rev. Zacharia Ramban, delivered a meaningful and inspiring address.
Felicitations were offered by Fr. Simon Lukose (Administrator), Mrs. Jaisy John (Ward Councillor), Rev. Fr. Thomson Grace, Dr. Biju G., and Mrs. Sheeja Chacko (Staff Secretary). Student coordinator Jisa C.S. proposed the vote of thanks, marking the conclusion of the inaugural session.
After a short tea break, the theme presentation session began at 11:30 AM. Dr. Noufal N, Assistant Professor at Sree Narayana Guru Open University, led an inspiring session on the topic “Unity.” He emphasized that every human being is unique and that true humanity shines when we understand and embrace these differences.
Following lunch, Mr. Ranjith T, HR Trainer from the Alappuzha Collectorate, conducted a motivating session titled “A Direction for Dreams.” His talk, along with engaging games and interactions, encouraged teacher trainees to dream big and work with purpose and dedication.
In the evening, the session “Laughter and Thoughts” brought charm and joy to the day. Mimicry artist and Flowers TV Comedy Utsavam fame Mr. Vineeth Elamadu delivered a delightful and thought-provoking performance. He reminded everyone that it is not about how long we live, but how meaningfully we leave our mark in the world. His humorous imitations and interactive games filled the hall with laughter and reflection.
Despite heavy rain and a few minor challenges, the enthusiasm of the trainees never faded. The first day of the Lokahi Camp turned into a memorable beginning filled with inspiration, teamwork, and unity.
As proud members of Group 2, Ekatva, we were entrusted with the organization of the day’s programs. Our team carried out the duties with dedication and pride, making the inaugural day of Lokahi Camp truly colorful and well-coordinated.
