πŸ’»πŸ‘©‍πŸ’»Integration of Technology in Teaching through E-Content

E-content plays a vital role in present-day education by effectively combining technology with the teaching–learning process. It enhances learner interest and understanding by incorporating digital elements such as text, images, animations, audio, and video. In science learning, e-content is especially useful for explaining abstract concepts in a simple and visual manner. It also promotes independent learning by enabling students to access learning materials at their convenience, thereby making the learning process flexible, interactive, and learner-centred.

My e-content prepared is for Class VIII Basic Science on the topic “Surface Tension”from the chapter Water. The lesson explains the concept of surface tension, mutual attraction between water molecules, the membrane-like behaviour of the water surface, spherical shape of water droplets, and the effect of soap and heat on surface tension. The content was first designed using attractive PowerPoint slides. The video lesson was recorded using a mobile camera and edited using the VN application, with suitable animations, sound effects, and narration. Simple language, attractive images, animations, and audio narration were used to make the e-content user-friendly and easily understandable for students.
